GORP - Great Outdoor Recreation Pages - GORP was founded in 1995 by avid outdoor enthusiasts Diane & Bill Greer. More than 100,000 pages dedicated to outdoor recreation and adventure travel. Great resource for a Great Adventure.

Lonely Planet - Lonely Planet travel guides explore cities, regions and countries in depth and for every budget, with maps, recommendations - on and off the beaten track. There are over 220 titles in this classic series covering nearly every country in the world. In addition to destination content, you will find travelogues with a kick, themed travel guides, a thriving community of travelers, and tools for travelers in the age of technology, such as city guides that you can download onto your Palm Pilot and an innovative communications solution service called eKno.

Rough Guides - Rough Guides' site has 130 Travel Guides, from Amsterdam to Zimbabwe.
